Environment:
We are an environmentally responsible organization. We work with our clients to strive for building homes and developments which will least impact the
natural balance and beauty of the island. We are currently responsible for helping to clean up the main rain water runoff into Sandy Bay by installing a box culvert in one of our clients properties that has several silt traps to collect the muddy runoff that is partly responsible for the silting out of reef in the area as well as causing algae to grow in and around the runoff areas beaches. We are paving several dirt roads in the area, also lessening the chances of silt runoff during rainy season.
We work with clients to design buildings around the more mature native trees in the area. We would like to see larger trees survive in place and for us to work and live around them, rather than where they once stood.
Community:
Whenever possible, we hire from the surrounding communities in the hope that neighbors of our projects will take more pride in their work and hope to see benefit to their communities as a whole. We are actively involved in expanding our renewable energy division. We are researching solar and wind powered generators for inverter/ battery powered systems for several clients and anticipate having a wide range of power generating systems available by the end of 2007.
